Title: Recurved Bowie finished
Post by: TRiggs on January 06, 2019, 01:44:20 pm
I finished this yesterday for a family member in the Navy, 5160 spring steel, brass fixtures and pins, tiger maple scales. The bevels are forged in to the knife and not ground in and the blade is polished down to 1000 grit by hand.

That's a real beauty. That handle will jump after a few years of hand oil.

Looks like a dandy blade for up close and personal contact!  I like it, and I'm sure your relative will, too!
