Nice

Beautiful piece out of a pro's workshop! One time in the future i'd love to own a bow like this. Cheers
-
Way to go Mark! The tiller looks awesome. (-S
-
Handsome. Congrats, sir.
-
Beautiful bow... looks like dream to shoot.
-
Nice work Mark...I'm imagining how smooth that bow is to draw right now.
-
Thank you!! They feel like a high early draw wt but smooth in the end. I need to do a draw force curve.
-
Well done! 8) :OK
-
I like that red elm.
-
Beautiful bow, I think the price on red elm may have just gone up a tad.
-
Very nice looking bow, great bend too
-
Gorgeous craftsmanship. I'm curious what the unbraced profile looks like.
-
Thanks for the nice comments! Here is the unbraced profile .

Beautiful tiller and awesome bow! Any special reason for a quad lam? Would’t two or three perform the same but be easier to build? Or maybe you build glass bows as well and have all the tapers worked out?
-
I have tried 2 and 3 lams in the past and I feel as if the extra glue line helps it hold the profile much better and to make the glue line perfect on the belly it's much easier with two thin lams than one thicker one.
-
Now I really like this bow. I would be showing off that profile if it was my bow

Thanks! Will try that some time. I did a lot of tri-lams with bamboo back, iipe belly and different cores and they keep their profile really good. Mostly using titebond3 but never tried elm or hickory or other non tropical woods.

Thank you!! I feel like the extra lams/glue lines help hold the profile better. It definitely is easier with two thin lams than one thick lam on the belly ramps....that's a fairly sharp bend.
-
Mark, beautiful work as usual! Your bows are an inspiration of what an advanced wood bow design can look like! SS
