Not sure if this one goes here. Had a pc of soapstone that I used for bearing block on bowdrill that drilled thru fairly quick, today decided to do something with stone with a hole in it. I saw a bird trapped in there so I freed him, Way easier than flintknapping, roughed it out then sanded a gave a coat or two of boiled linseed oil and a little hand rub. this is my first attempt at using soapstone , I need to get some more. Nice Bob. Now all you need is a gold chain to hang it around your neck. ;D Knapper bling! 8)

A bird in the hand! Not sure about the bush! Nice job, art for art's sake! Now for a pipe! Although that will require drilling!

Nice job reusing the soapstone bearing Outback. Might have to start calling you Ravine Bob if you start wearing it for knapper bling.
