Title: Bamboo question?

There was a big mark like the ones at the top right.i sanded down the rind,but it left a smooth stain.any thoughts on this?thxs bush!

I try and push those to the back of the pile, but I end up using them and I haven't seen any problems from it.  On the last 2 bows I made, one had a few spots like that on the bamboo and there wasn't an issue.

Have seen those lots of times and never had any problems, just ignore them

I have some like that. It may be the last of the batch that I'll use but I'll use it,
If I see a bamboo failure imminent while tillering or shooting I can replace the boo before it causes any other damage to the bow., I'll just replace it.
I have never had a bamboo explode on me, they almost always give me plenty of warning.
