Here is a relatively light weight Osage bow i built with sinew and rawhide. 37#@27". Buffalo horn tips and leather grip. Reflexed tips. I learned a lot from this bow. I named it according to the artwork, which ties the heavens and the earth together with symbols of Nordic and "old world" meaning. The flowers in bloom on Montana mountains remind me that Earth has such wisdom and beauty to share.

ooh pretty ;D thats literally the first thing i said when i opened your post.
i think its cool that you used Norse symbols with a color and pattern scheme reminiscent of native american artwork.

Thank you all for the compliments! Very cool to hear each members perspective, reminds me of why i love this group so much. I'm starting to explore and push my limits (and patience lol) to see what can be achieved combining function and beauty. Got some interesting bows in the works, and they are just about ready to shine! (-S
Looks like its between me and Weylin for BBOM, not sure that i'm worthy of such a contender. I took the photos on my iphone, ill try and step up my photography game in the future.
