Hello everyone while i was tillering this bow i wanted a more elliptical tiller to fit the front profile of the bow but after pulling it to 28 inches a few times and shot a few arrows its still only at 1 inch of set. is the tiller ok? ive never had problem with tillering a bow but this is more circular than i wanted. the bow is 1.75 inches most of the limb until maybe the last 14 inches. Oh and sorry about the pots on the table i had to take a pick in my kitchen while the wife was asleep :)

The bow looks good just as it is. I would leave it. Good job.

coming from you Badger that means a lot. Thank you big fan

From your description of the bow, I think the tiller looks great also, but the abrupt angle from fade to limb is something I would change on my next bow.

The abrupt angle at the handle is due to me cutting too deep with the band saw. The bottom limb especially if you look closely at the fade you can see that the thickness there is uneven. I tried to rush the bow and I paid for it. This bow is actually spliced at the handle.

Tiller looks good to me, I agree on the fads, a little smoother transition would be better but as long and it don't hinge there you should be fine.
Nice job. :)
