The difference between 40#@24" and 40#@ 26.5" 98 grains or 1/4 oz.

This is actually very interesting to see. Not a while lot of diffenece is there.

Now take that poundage down from the sides on the next bow and see how much wood will lay there.

To me, that is the hardest skill to learn. How much wood makes this much weight fall off? Or, how much wood makes this much limb bend?

nice thanks for taking the time to post,, I love stuff like that,,
I used the weigh the wood that came off when I thinned the tips,, so I could see if there was a cast difference,,
now I just spit ball,, (SH)

I still do that. This last one I took 8 grams off the tips. I figure I used it all up when I served the center of the string. :)
