???quick fast and in a hurry, should i use judo style heads, or blunt for small game (rabbits, squirls, coons, so on). i like judo's personally, wadaya thing guys.
-
I like the ace hex blunt for rabbits and grouse. Can't advise on the racoons though.
Mike
-
I would say blunt. I think the judos are more for stump shooting.

cool, ill see what i can find. and i thought about the coon, i think ill use a broad head for him.
-
stick with a broadhead for the coons.
-
yeah, i got to thinking about it and realized that anything that can kill a dog is worthy of some serious takedown power.
-
Shoot. I missed the deadline. Sorry. :) Jawge
-
its cool. thanz guys i got some blunts. ill let yall know how they work out.
-
yeah coons are fiesty critters tom brown said one could take on 2 german sheperds. we trap some monster coons that can tear up an area
-
if your bow isnt of high puondage, use broadheads on bunnies and such.that way you can stick them right to the ground.lol >:D >:D
then if they aint dead right away they just run in circles around the arrow :o
-
lol, i think i got enough thump to smash a bunie, no need to empail em. traper, u got me thinking now, i want to try to kill a coon with a bow. and i know they are masive, i have trapped a few 40 pounders.
-
40 pounds? i dont know about that...
-
i only got one. it must have been someone's pet, but i assure u i caught it, and i assure u it was BIG.
-
oh i believe ya caught it but did ya weigh it to be sure it was forty. weve caught some that weighted maybe 20 and that felt like 50 pounds after carrying out a way.
-
huh, ya got a point. i gotta start doing that. but anyway they get big and have a LOT of fight for there size. id like to see what would happen if a coon and a mongoose hooked up for a fight.
-
ive used judo points on rabbits. they work to a devastating effect. a hit rabbit is a dead rabbit.
-
i had a suspicion of that. a judo would worke like a small broadhead on soft game. and how do yall rabit hunt with bows, just wonder through the woods? i would go at night but i have yet to figure out how to hold a spotlight and a bow in the same hand. ;D
-
i just look for their beds. look for brush piles, thickets, places where trees form a low canopy right over the ground, and dense areas of grass. proximity to water helps.
-
i got the perfect place. right out back. ive killed 3 of them out there wit a rifle this year.
