Oak neck is a floorboard from a house built in the '30's, the walnut came from one of the original trees planted by John Bidwell in Chico, maple purpleheart fretboard with purpleheart dowels I made . All gold furniture and solid bar pickup. Volume knob is from a beer made in Weed calif, I managed to get the sticker off the bottle and it is on the back

That is nice!!!I bet they'd love that being played around the campfire at Twin oaks in the evening.

CBGs figure heavily in my music rotation these days. A few years back someone here posted a link to them playing a uke or something on Youtube. It was a great little clip and I enjoyed it nicely, but failed to close Youtube....and gthe next video was Samantha Fish on a CBG playing/singing "Shake Em On Down". In this case, the Fish hooked ME!
I'd love to see you or someone else slide-neckin' this thing, brother! Looks like it has some heart and soul of it's own.

Nice job. That "Weed" Golden Ale sounds fascinating. :o :o :o

JW, are you familiar with Seasick Steve? Check out some of his live shows on youtube. He plays a CBG and several other interesting instruments.

Nice, Bubby! I have 3 cigar boxes ready for me to make, as well. It'll be a first. I even have a few parts gathered. Can't wait to get started, finally.

An acoustic is pretty easy to build Matt, total work time on this pretty lady was about 4hrs tops, I was short a string🙄
-
Then, I just have to learn how to play it. :)

Dang it bub! There is a rule about not posting about religion and here you go pushing your Luthieranism!
