thought i should post something sense i voted for this forum ;D
i made this Saturday at my local blacksmith club.
i plan to do as much grinding as i can while it's still on the bar.

if you can forge weld then do the ''wrap and weld'' method, it was a bear spreading 1'' square 1080 out this wide not to mention cutting and drifting the eye.

wrapped eye i think, if i put anything on the back it will be a pipe.

here is where i'm at now.
i got the entire head cleaned up with a mill file and i decided to try putting a hammer poll on, figured if i didn't like it i could always just grind it off.
still needs a little refinement around the hammer poll and i need to practice the decorative techniques i plan on using before i attempt them on this head.
