First time making stands for a couple of knives that I knapped last week.

Not sure what this rock is. Cooked it up and it turned to butter for me. Even healed the crack going up the middle.

I doubt it Don. Wife and I was in South Dakota this past summer and stopped at an antique store and the guy was selling his sisters lapidary rock. Probably some western jasper.

P51, that's tri flow. You can see thru about half of it. I mailed it out to a gal in South Dakota today.
