I just got all my immigration and work visa paperwork approved and right now am on my way to the airport. I am stoked. A year long contract in Toronto, and possible year long extension. Its a little late this year, but next season I am setting uo a guided big game hunt for a buddy and me. Got a year to make the perfect bow for this, make some arrows, and knapp some perfect points.

You might have a hard time finding somewhere to hunt in Southern Ontario. You are welcome to come up for a visit ( I'm 4 hours north of TO ) if you have the time

Welcome to Canada.. Buy a Toronto Maple leaf toque you'll fit in...

And wear it when you go to the Tim Hortons for a maple log...

Well, my first full day here is drawing to a close. I have met more foreign people than actual Canadians, but maybe its just because if my work hires a lot of immigrants. However everyine is nice, i need to learn French because half the folks here speak it better than English. Its getting cold, but I live the cold. Leavea have changed already and its beautiful. I see the Canadian flag flying high everywhere and the people seem to be proud and polite. Im looking forward to doing some fishing in Lake Ontario and when it gets colder, maybe an ice fishing trip.
As for hunting, I am going to take a few weeks off to go next season. I dont care where, wherever the big game is will be fine. Marc, i am going to take you up on the offer for a visit, thank you, when things settle down for me, we can make a plan.
Tim Hortons is everywhere, i havent been yet. I dont know what a maple leaf toque is?

The Leafs are a mediocre hockey team from Toronto. A toque is a knitted wool brimless hat.

Good luck, too bad we couldn't have hooked up here. I thought you told me you were going to Ottawa?

Edie, if I did, i didnt mean to im in Toronto. We will meet up, my favorite place in Florida is Tampa bay, and there are still fish i have to catch down there.

Hey go to a box lacrosse game! Welcome! Jeffw

Only a few thousand miles south, but I hear Ana Maria Island off Tampa is pretty neat! Friend of ours lived there, but moved to WA state! Any way there is supposed to be good fishing and hunting up north, too. Stay off the lake when the weather turns gloomy! Have a good stay and keep us posted.
