Title: Sunflower shafts?
Post by: Buck67 on August 15, 2017, 03:12:55 pm
I planted some sunflowers this year.  One of them has grown to over 10 foot tall, the stalk is about 2" thick at the base.  I keep looking at that straight stalk and wondering if there is an arrow shaft anywhere in there.  I assume that it has a pithy center but if the walls are thick enough I might be able to get a shaft or two out of it.

Has anyone ever had experience with sunflower stalks?
