Has anyone used artificle sinew for backing a bow and if so , how does it compare against other bow backing materials ?
Is it good in tension and is it easy to apply ?
Thanks .

I wouldn't waste your time or the bow by putting artificial sinew on it.

Like Clint said, it wouldn't be worth the trouble. Too many other backing materials around.

If you are going to use man made materials you might as well go with fibreglass and be done with it :0)

Artificial sinew is just waxed nylon fibers (think tooth floss). I suppose you could back a bow with nylon (not on this forum though), but as is the wax holding the artificial sinew together will not accept any glue.
