this one started out much longer and I did not catch when I glued up twist in top tip. Trimmed it down few inches to take the twist out. I chose the deflex side of the limb due to knots on the reflex side but I didn't want. I planned the glue joint by hand. 1/8th inch Maple back with wenge tips and tips and handle. 57 ntn and around 45 at 24/25. Surprisingly fast and very easy to shoot for a short one. Thanks for looking

a few more. Funny I did the timer on my cell phone for the full draw and it makes me look like I'm shooting left-handed
-
Nice looking shorty !

Didn't know you were into glue up's Mr. Semp......................Looks pretty darn good to me from here.....

Sweet! You snuck that one right by me.

I've made plenty of wood backed bows Bill, just haven't in awhile. I don't have a lot of my wood tools set up for easy access so I typically stay away. If I had a nice shop that was set up and never had to be broke down I would make a lot more. Since I got married and had 2 kids I've been left with only a 16 ft by 16 ft shed
Chris I made this one over a year ago but threw it in the corner do the twist in the limb. It was a 64" r/d

I'm with Pearl on this one....Had no idea you did those....I'm very impressed and surprised...way to go my friend.

Nice job doing all the planing by hand! I've tried that, but never succeeded. Everything looks sweet!
-
Very nice work Pauly. I love the colors in that bow.
-
Nice job. Looks good
-
That's a really nice looking little bow there, Paul. Good looking tiller and creative and aesthetic finish work.

Nice :OK ! Bob

Wow, that's a cool lil bow... tiller is spot on

Real nice work! Got to watch those camera flips, though - they do funny things to your shot placement >:D

Looks like some lotr archer

That a really nice looking bow Paul. It looks like yew. That deflex probably makes it shoot nice
and smooth.
Bubby's full draw picture makes you look like you should be in one off the Marvel Movies.

Nice save there Paul. I think I've seen and held that bow a time or two last fall when we were out hunting? That was before your rework right?
-
yeah Greg, it sat in the corner since then. Much better off short with rework
-
Man that thing is pretty cool! Well done!
-
Thanks, I want to do a glue up someday and would much rather use tb3. I know guys say it works fine, but it best to see the actual results. That fd pic does have me confused.
-
Love the full draw shot.Sweet little bow Paul.
-
Ya need to build annex onto that shed. So ya can more easily build more similar to this!
-
Sweet little bow Paul, cranking them out lately
