Found this Clay Hayes vid to be one of best have seen on the subject.

Removing twist and adding reverse twist after 1st loop is made is particularly important to me and often not covered in other vid how-to's. That's at 4:45 in this video.

Just made a string jig yesterday and watched the video this morning. That part about the twist was news to me. Glad I watched it. Will watch again when I make the first jigged string. (Have made a couple sans jig. Can be done, but not as neatly, for me at least.)
