When I started building bows my one of my buddies borrowed me this bow to practice with. He wouldn't sell it to me but told me he got it for $20 and I could just hold onto it for him. I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about it. It's in pretty good shape I really don't think it was shot much. Here's some pictures

Tiger cats were the low end model back in the day. You saw a lot of them sold at Sears, Montgomery Wards. They shoot just as good as the highly sought after collectables and a lot of times came off the same molds. That is a nice looking one.
My guess is it's a '78, the last year it was made. The coin is aluminum and rounded, they were used on the lower end bows during that time period the bow was made, '64- '78.

Thanks Eddie just was curious and sure you'd know. It is a nice shooting bow

I am leaning towards a 1969 model.

Yes sir, I believe you are right. If it was a '78 it would have Gainesville decal.

Thanks Jeb and Eddie, she in pretty good shape for her age. I would have been 8 years old then and we were getting ready to send a man to the moon.
