I hope everyone is ready for the 2nd annual Tenn.Classic laminated bow challenge, last year we had a very good turnout of participants, and everyone successfully finished a bow from one of the blanks that I had at the Classic. this year will be just as much fun, also this year I will be offering a bamboo backed 50s style recurve, along with the bamboo backed r/d longbow blanks.
the blanks : bamboo backed osage, bamboo backed ipe, these blanks will have various riser wood and underlays from many different species,so each one will be different, they will also have various dye colors and patterns,( if anybody wants one natural please let me know soon)
all bow blanks will be 140.00 each, includes tip overlay materials of different kinds and string material,Eddie Parker will be making every ones string for them :o ::) ha ha
there will be also a 1st,2nd and 3rd place prize for those who choose to compete in the laminated challenge.
this year their will be a prize for the worst score too,,probably sulfridge
I will be getting some pics of the blanks post in the next day or two,,,,,james
