Title: Cheeks and Throats
Post by: Zuma on February 11, 2017, 08:28:07 pm
Get a pretty big fish.
Cut out the cheeks. Then the throat.
We have talked about this before
but I had no photos to share.

Deep fried halibut or cod cheeks are some of my favorite fish! Always the best piece of meat on the fish. Looks like some good eatin' Cheers- Brendan

Nice Red ! Man - You're making Me HUNGRY. I've always kept the cheeks of the Walleyes I catch. Have heard of Guys doing the throats on the 'Eyes, but have never tried it Myself. Bob

Your really making me miss my fishing trips to Blind River Canada. We had a group that went there for many years. It was a very no frills fishing trip but a fantastic area that we got to know really good.

We are Don. Wife and I made some good finds. Best so far is a 5000 yr old Texococo point about the size of a nickel.

Had a mini knap in yesterday with three others while wife roamed the desert.  Buddy was detecting and found a metal arrow point.

Leaving here around the 23rd to Texas where I get thrown off the river bank for picking up knapping rock, lol
