Hi fellas I put the raw hide on this bow today & didn't notice that some TB3 got inside the wrap & got on the the non backed statics has any body used any chemical or heat to get it off I could sand if I had to but would like to get it off by other means if possible any ideas ?

Show us a close up of where it is. A light scraping should get it off.

Ok thanks Pat I used painters tape right at the raw hide static inter section but had the wrap above that and the glue squeeze up in to the bandage I could probably scrape or sand but that outer ring is glass smooth & was planing tru oil or tung oil just was looking for symmetry in the tips is all thought maybe acid tone or some thing like that but I was wondering if any body had any tricks

TB glues will soften with heat but you'll still have to scrape it off.

Not trying to be a smart a$$ but I use my pocket knife.

Try a small spot with biodegradable paint remover?

I haven't tried it, but I would paint on some acetone with a brush, then wipe it off with a clean cloth.

I would cover from the hide to the tip with a snake skin,, :)

Thanks guys a lot of ideas appreciate it , I have used raw apple cider veniger before to losen TB2 , but wasn't sure on TB3 never used it before , that's a good idea Brad about the snake skins , this bow was saposed to be just a ruff & tumble hunting bow geared toward performance but it keeps getting prettier by the day .....lol

I just scrape it off [ Lightly] with a scarper. :)
