2 parts juice to 1 part powder by volume.

if the label is beat up that bad the urac might not be good any more. once opened the shelf life is not that long. just what i've heard.

DCM, Thats what I thought it was but unsure. It's only 6 months old and have kept in frig so I think it's still ok but I did wonder that also. Moved recently and it rubbed on something to where it couldn't be read. I also did a search and found a site that said to mix it at 10:1 and it seemed a little weak than I remember. Also, people that make custom fly rods use ammonium something with distilled h2o and add that to the 2:1. Allows more working time?
Thanks
Tracy

The mix is 13 parts liquid to 1 part resin by weight. I use an old powder scale altered to hold a small Dixie cup to weigh it. The bottom line is just about any mix ratio will work. My friend George called a tec rep at the Nelson paint co to find out about the glue and was told to put any amount of hardener in it you want and it will set up just fine.
I have stored Urac in the frig for several years with out it going bad.

Thanks for the info Eric. I thought you had mentioned using it in another post. That would explain why I've seen different ratios throughout my search on the web.
