Thanks for all your help guys on the topic of piking. Here's the finished product. #36@26" yew wood bow with slight reflex tips. White leather wrapped handle and black walnut tip overlays.

the upper limb would not take the reflex like the bottom limb. was so frustrating i did it three times.

Yew did it!!! Nice bow. I like the black walnut contrasts nice with the yew.

Looks good . Sometimes I have the same problem with heat treating holding. Usualy when one end has natural reflex and the other end natural deflex. The deflex end nearly always is the problem child. Arvin
