62" ttt, 60"ntn. This is a very simple bow that I enjoy shooting a lot. I learned a ton building this bow, it seemed I was struggling with somthing all the way through the process. Many mistakes were made but I still ended up with a shooter! Its heat treated lightly, and sealed with tallow.

Very nice. I love those simple bows. And way to go using a traditional finish. Take all the lessons learned and start the next one. It's a deep spiral, but a fun one. Enjoy your new creation.

Looks good so far, like it. Hans

Thanks guys, ksnow, it sure is a deep spiral and I am digging it. Yep I have a couple more bows started and am always working on arrows now, mostly learnig to tune them.

very classic sir....that's what primitive archer should be about. A natural finish is what I use as well, works better than the storebought too. Very well done

Very nice looking bow

Looks like you used a perfect design for the wood and your execution was spot on as well. Very nice bow helmet.

Looks solid and well-built. Always nice when you can learn lessons and still come out with a bow instead of a black eye!
-
That's quite a piece. Looks like that bow that is one of those "go to bows." The one that will get the job done. Outstanding job helmet.

Thanks for the positive feed back folks! I feel the heat treating made the biggest difference on this bow, It minimized the set and made it much snappier.

Very nice bow from a wood we see not that often.
Next time take a few more pics!
