Here's a toad staber in made for the Christmas trade. The blade is old TV screen(so far no hand cuffs picking them up). The handle is from my primitive bow buck leg bone. I picked up a bone from a beef roast last summer I found thinking I might make a thumb guard. It's all put together with pine pitch glue. Wrapped some leather on handle I got from Pearl at Marshall. She's a real ice knife baby.

Thanks Penderbender, at 1st I wasn't sure I was going to like it but now I can't stop looking at it and picking it up. It really feels good in the hand. Makes me just want to skin something sure hope my recipient likes its

Kinda unique BJ. What did you make the hilt out of?

Zuma it was a bone I found where my wife empties her "swamp bucket " I'm pretty sure it's from a beef pot roast. I just cut it thinner and filed hole right size to fit over leg bone. I slid it on bone before halvting the blade with pine pitch then put some pitch on handle where hilt would be and warmed it up and slid it in place. Here piece I cut have left.

Thanks guys, I really like the feel of this handle. I think it would work nicely with a steel blade too. I put my markings on it to go with the arrows I made. Hope I didn't over do it.

The blade looks good. nice knapping.

Wow now that's a cool knife. Any body should be proud to recieve that knife then you go and make arrows too and you paint it all to match. You went all out. Great Job!
