My Diego is itching to get an AR. He's been saving mowing and stall cleaning money. Here are the specs of the gun.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
18" Faxon pencil barrel
Mas Defense light weight upper
Anderson lower
Palmetto State Armory lower parts kit with fixed stock
5 mags, roughly 45 rounds
Scope riser
Leapers accushot scope (good out to about 150 yards).
2 rail covers
Shoulder strap.
I don't have the magpul back up sights anymore.
Asking price is $550

I'd say go for it. AR-15's are great and if you end up not liking something about it you can just tweek it. Very customizable!

The AR was our go to weapon in the Nam.
Untill we got the 16.
I guess they would make an ok deer /varmit gun.
But why spend that much when you can get a nice
.243 or .270 for a lot less. maybe only five shots
but I never need more than one with a varable 12
power scope! O:)Good to 400yds and up.
.270 good for chucks - elk imo.
