Title: Osage flatbow
Post by: upstatenybowyer on November 07, 2016, 09:04:30 pm
Hi folks,

Here's one I finished not long ago. 56" ntn, drawing 50# at 28". I don't know why exactly, but I love shooting this bow. I'm able to shoot way more accurately with this one than with many others I've made. Maybe it's the awesome wood I walked miles through thorns and poison ivy to cut. Anyway, hope you dig it.

Thanks again everyone. Here's a few more, including a front view. She's backed with a black origami paper called "Elephant Hide." Of coarse it's not actually from an elephant, but it's given that name due to it's tensile strength. Felt good about the chase, but wanted a little extra assurance.  ;)
