Current temp: 77 degrees
Wind: West at 10 mph
Humidity: 18%
barometric pressure: 29.49 inches and steady
Two days ago the daytime high was 30 degrees and we had snow flurries. Now do you see why we all talk about the weather constantly up here? It is a vain attempt to stay current!
Pheasant season opens tomorrow morning.

Good Luck on the Birds JW ! Rare sight in Michigan anymore sadly >:( - Bob.

Good luck, JW, I havn't hunted them since I lived in Colo. a long time ago. Except at a NWTF Tower Shoot, now that was a hoot.
Chris Cade is hatching and turning them loose on his farm in SC. It will be fun in a few years if we can keep the yotes from snacking on them.

Do pheasants roost in trees? If not the coyotes will eat well. Some of the guys at the club I was in n GA stocked lots and lots of quail. A few years later there were no ore or hardly any.
Good luck on the pheasant hunt, John. Camo shorts might be in order. ;)

No, Pat, they roost on the ground and Chris said the yotes are real tough on the quail he is releasing also.
