Knocked this one out for one of my matched spine and wieght hunting arrows. Made it from the flint river I got from Frank at Marshall and cooked in my wife's turkey roaster.

i love the orange on that point. nice!

Thanks Rob, Thanks Eddie, Phyankord the stone was butterscotch color before I cooked it. The heat turned it red when you remove flakes you lose some of the red sometimes all of it sometimes not that much.

Beautiful point. Funny how that beauty transitions to deadly

Thanks guys for all the nice words, I really like the color to but I like how much the heat treatment helps to knap ability of the stone even more. I really like this stuff have shot my arrows a quite a bit now they seem like pertty durable stuff. Flungonin I sure hope they transition to deadly so far there just really chewing up my block target lol. Cantshoot I used to always sneak wifes turkey roaster, she mostly uses it just for parties and get togethers. I got caught cooking some just a couple weeks before sons graduation party, knew I was pushing it. I brought it back so clean that when I asked her if I could use it she said yes but use the other one it needs cleaning anyhow lol. Thanks again everyone
