This was going to be my back up bow for this years bow trade but I ran intoa couple issues that made me leary of stretching it out to the 29 inch draw I was after, so I set it aside untill after I shipped. Finished it up at a shorter draw over the last few days.
Specs...... Flowering Dogwood.(from billets) 52#@26" 66 1/2 ttt

I can see how you wouldn't want to ship that to your guy.
Although I, on the other hand, would have absolutely no problem with having a lowly reject ::)
-
That's no reject! Good work man.

That's no reject! Good work man.
+1 That's A Great Looking Bend! Cheers- Brendan
-
That's one sweet reject bow.
-
Looks darn good to me, well done.
-
Thanks guys.
The limbs have some twist in em and kept giving my eyes fits cause it looks so much different depending on what side you are looking at. I added another full draw to show what I mean. I like how it shoots and feels where its at now so I quit fooling with it and threw some finish on. Im sure tiller could be better but I got tired of fooling with it.

That's a fine bow you made, Turtle! It seems like the guys with shorter draw lengths do have a bit of an easier time when it comes to wood bows.
-
Thats some reject man....nicely done!!!

I'm working a Dogwood stave at the moment. I think I may steal your idea of staining the back and scraping the rest to white :D :D
