Title: Incised dots on belly of bow
Post by: comsio on July 26, 2016, 09:04:56 am
At the Little Bighorn National Monument I have seen a bow plus arrows, apparently the items belonged to Sitting Bull.
There are 13 incised dots on the bows belly. Any idea what that means: Maybe 13 killed soldiers?  :-\

It would only be speculation to comment. Usually it was something personal.
