Title: my trade bow from gundoc
Post by: bubby on July 11, 2016, 10:39:39 pm
I was ecstatic to come home and see a tube on the porch, it was a beautiful yew bow from Josh aka gundoc!!this is my first yew bow and i love it, shoots quick and smooth as butter and hits hard. Cobra skins on the back and it is a t/d to boot. I need to get busy and build a nice case for it now thank you Josh it is a fine bow and I'm proud to own it(http://i623.photobucket.com/albums/tt320/bubncheryl/Mobile%20Uploads/20160711_183648_HDR_zpss8kfjyyb.jpg) (http://s623.photobucket.com/user/bubncheryl/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20160711_183648_HDR_zpss8kfjyyb.jpg.html)

Woowee, that's a pretty bow. I'm a proud owner of a Gun Doc special as well. He makes a high quality bow, that's for sure. Congrats, Bubby.

I was proud to build it for you Bubby!  Your first yew bow, my first yew build.  Fitting all around.  I remember someone posted "no using familiar woods" so that's what I did.
Thanks for all the nice comments fellas!  Josh

Even prettier up close, that yew/cobra contrast is cool. Watched your shooting video too Bub, I know thats an exceptional bow cause it had you hitting the target. :)

I think you are a heck of a good man for not showing your bitter disappointment in receiving this sadly cobbled together piece of truck stop chock block wood and roadkilled gutter snake.   >:D

At least it is a takedown, so it's easier to hide in the "corner of shame"!!!

I gotta go now, time for another large helping of sour grapes for me!   ;D

I have to admit that was mighty gracious of Bubby.  Especially considering all the top shelf bows that are being received.  None of which are headed to rapid city by the way. >:D. Enjoy those sour grapes ol buddy!  Josh

I am having an extra large glass of sour grape whine, as we speak, Josh!

Prolly a good thing that bow didn't come to me.  What a waste it would be, considering how poorly I do shoot what few times I pick up a bow to shoot.  I honestly believe it is really in the right hands.
