I wanted to be able to steam half a bow at a time so I made this.
From a plumber, PVC pipe and insulation stocking, this can take boiling water.
Tried first without insulation, but that did not get warm enough.
Temperature rises quick in the tube with a rag wrapped around tha stave at top.

Your stave will bend like butter if you get it closer to bow dimensions
-
You can improve your setup with a metal or plastic cover on the pot and the pipe mounted on vertically.

I made one similar but found some double walled metal piping for heating systems at the big box store kind of nice the pieces fit together so you can lengthen it for what ever you want & you don't have to insulate it .

I welded up a metal tube with a flat stand that I set on my Turkey Fryer and just boil the limb.
