Hi all.
A week ago I just taught my third weekend seminar on bowmaking.
Very nice time with nice people, in a nice place, and they did a very good job: hackberry sapling bows came out 38, 41 and two of 44 pounds, and the ash flatbow from stave came 44 pounds too. Nice shooters all of them.
Some pics here.
Thanks for watching :)

Niice! I'm a bit jealous :P
-
That does look like a great time!
-
Looks like some nice looking selfbows too. Jawge
-
Wow - finished up and shooting in one weekend! They must have a great teacher.
-
Excellent! The bows, the teaching and passing it on. 8)
Where are you located?
-
Great job!
-
man that looks fun.
-
That's really cool
-
Nice job. You should do an arrow workshop. Peacock fletching looks so nice.
-
Thanks all :)
Jawge, yes they shoot nicely all of them. I'm happy with how arrows went flying to the 3D targets :)
Pat B, I'm in Valencia, Eastern/Mediterranean Spain. But workshop was a bit more far from the beach, like one hour by car to the West, in the countryside.
DC: yes!!! there were like 25 peacocks (by night they flight to the branches of pines, and some pines looked like a Christmas tree :D ) but there are also turkeys, geese...and pigs, donkeys, horses, sheeps... a very nice farm :)
Cheers to all :)

Looks like a nice gathering!
An outdoor workshop is a class by its own.

That is one way to store your fletching....still attached to the birds!
Looks like everyone was having a great time!
-
Yes, we all had a great time! :) JW Halverson
Here in Mediterranean area is usually a good idea to find the shadow of a pine and work under it :)
We had a closed workshop too, but we thought that it would be better to put tables outside :D Simson
Thanks both!

A nice Spanish temperanillo goes well with bow making!
-
Great looking bows and pretty country side. When it gets hot down here I like to work under my big lemon tree with the fan going.
JW, a nice Red wine and a bowl of aceituna's are good, also.
-
Si!
-
very nice thanks for posting

Thanks all for watching and replying :)

Good job, I love seeing threads like this. I always think of Pappy and Twin Oaks and how he must have gotten started. Keep it up!

That's great! Congratulations to you all!
