Sure seems lonely on here. Wish I was at Twin Oaks.
-
I'll keep you company. I still have to work for a living
-
Me too, but it's almost over, now.

Thanks guys I feel better already.

I am at work, yet not working... Damn Government jobs.

I'm not there either but three weeks plus a few marshall or bust. And then elm hall a few months after that
-
I'm saving my time for my baby. Damn Babies! ;D
-
Those babies are something special. I still remember looking at mine for the 1st time it changed me forever. One thing you will some day realize is your never done raising them. Maybe if I'm good some day they'll take care of me.
-
I'm excited beyond words. My wife is just sick of being pregnant. 2 months to go!
-

My youngest had Senior Skip day today. He's a really good kid. Had brain tumor removed when he was 7 months old. Shunt to drain extra spinal fluid. He had 54 surgeries by age 5. We spent a lot of time in hospitals. Still don't like Motel rooms cause they remind me of hospital rooms. It's been 13 years this July 5th. since his last surgery I thank the Lord every day. Hope that doesn't offend anyone but that really gets your priority's in order.
-
I can relate. Me and the wife had a great time at twin oaks and Marshall last year. We were planning on going again, but found out we're expecting and the dude date was about a week and a half ago!
bjrogg-sounds like a tough kid!

If you guys want to feel like you are there today; grab a Miller Lite, your bow and arrows and go sit in your shower with a raincoat on. Check out the Radar in Clarksville.

Hahaha Mullet you know a little rain don't dampen the fun at the classic does it? Clint said they was cooking burgers in the rain last nite
-
And sippin' out of a jar, i'm sure.

I would do that, if I could get about 400 of the finest people in the world to fit in my shower.
-
JW now I am feeling slightly creeped out

Well everyone but Clint
-
The rain wasn't bad at all. And I did trade for a sippin' jar Bubby. But it wasn't for my consumption ;)
-
I sure hope everybody had a good time I'm sure a lot of work to go through to have rain screw it up. Sure missed you guys.
-
If rain screwed up the Tenn Classic it would have never gotten past the first year. This was the 19th and only one year didn't have rain.
The rain this year was mostly at night and it sure did cool it down nicely. I could see my breath one morning.

My father does an annual camp-out at Ginnie Springs in Fl the weekend after memorial day for family and all his reenacting buddies (to the regiment!) and rain is pretty much a given at least one day. As long as it's not thundering a little rain while floating down the river never hurt nobody, lol.
-
Yep the rain wasn't near as bad as the weather man said, if fact it wasn't bad at all until Sunday evening late after all were gone except James/Becca and crew and about 3 campers that planned on staying the night anyway, then it came a small flood. :)

Good timing. Those weather men always have to make every little shower sound like a major storm nowadays. Must be good for there ratings or something. Very happy to hear all went well some year I'm gonna be there if I can ever get the young blood to figure all this stuff out. Thier learning but mistakes are real expensive in this job anymore. Kinda like bow building hard to fix after you make them just gotta start another, but that takes another season.
