I am referring to an article posted by "by Timo on August 07, 2010, 12:39:39 pm". Abraham Nowlin is my great, great grandfather. All pictures of this rifle have been removed and I have tried, without success, to contact "Timo". Obviously, the family would love to know about this rifle and, potentially, purchase the rifle to keep it in the family. I have some nice articles on Abraham but no pictures of work or of any guns. NOWLIN, Abram Cephus— Born in Patrick Co., Va., 1825; died 1913. Flintlock and percussion Kentucky rifles. Wounded in Confederate Army; after Civil War moved to Stark Creek near Cross Timbers, Hickory Co., Mo. Complete gunmaking; made one lock. Father of Tom Newlin.
If you go over to the American Longrifles site and post a question about this rifle there might be someone who is familiar with it or actually has one in their collection.

I checked at a muzzle loader forum and the last time he'd logged on there was about 5 years ago.
