...I have to report, that I just had to have My constant companion & and VERY best Friend - English Setter, Izzy put down. The only time in 12 1/2 years We were apart was three Years ago when I was in the Hospital for a few days. She was a machine on Ruffed Grouse & Woodcock - well mannered and a Joy to be around. House sure is going to feel empty for a while - RIP Izzy ! Bob

Sorry to hear bob :'( She was a hell of a dog. Was hoping the two of you were going to make Marshall because I was bringing my little girls and they'd be all over that dog. If you make it to Marshall I'm bringing my pup and she'll give you a little dog lovin

even though that's a long time in dog years, it's never enough in people years.
it's very tough to let go of a best friend :(
-
Sorry bob I know how hard that is
-
We know their lives are short and still we sign up for the hurt. Kinda tells you how much the good they give while they are with us.
Good dog, Izz'. All free, exercise done, all free.

They certainly are a Mans best friend

I am sorry for your loss, all dogs are special.
Sounds like 12 1/2 wonderful years.

Sorry for your loss. They find a way into our hearts.

Sweetheart of a pup, and a damn pretty one...I feel for you buddy. Stay positive and move along the best you can.

Sorry Bob, I lost my English Setter a year ago he was 12 too. Their lives are way too short for what they give, especially birddogs - as much as they make you crazy they give back twice as much as a normal dog.

Bob, so sorry to hear about Izzy. She will be missed, sitting next to her at the campfires. I'll miss watching her chasing the chippies at camp. She was a great dog, hunting partner and a loyal companion for you for many years. I'll always remember her sitting in her chair watching you, waiting to head to the woods. You are always in my thoughts.

Sorry to hear that you lost Izzy Bob, I remember meeting her when I first met you a few years ago at Elm Hall. A good dog is something special and I know you were quite fond of her. Take care my friend and I hope a new 4 legged friend comes along in your future to make new memories with.
