Title: My First Sinew Bow
Post by: Stick Bender on March 18, 2016, 05:41:45 pm
Hi guys I actualy finished this bow a couple of months ago but didnt get a full draw pic tell yesterday its Maple/sinew 62 ntn 53lb @29 its not totaly traditional as I used liquaid hide glue instead of the regular hot stuff but it really shoots sweet & dead in the hand real accurate, plan on hunting with this one in the fall, this is only my third shootable bow its not perfect but I really like it ,had about 800 arrows thru it & it shoots the same every time !

I'm a fan of stiff outers... 8) How about some close ups on the handle...

Looks good, glad you enjoy it. Next time around narrow that last 14" rather than only 4 or 5" worth. You will get a good bit more speed and maybe an even smoother shot.
