Hello all. I'm a new bowyer working on my second bow and I could use some help. It's Hickory two piece that I plan on boo backing and I'm shooting for 65" ntn, 60# at 28" and around 3" of r/d. I have this idea to use fiberglass or something like it to make the takedown sleeve with the intent that the grip is a little flexible and basically working. Does anyone know what kind of glass/resin or epoxy would fit the bill? Or better yet a natural material for the sleeve that could work?
