Finally my friend Chris is back in town so I could take pictures of his bow.
Equal limbs with 1/8 of negative tiller.

That's a nice Bow right there. But that last pick of him drawed back with a arrow ew scary.
-
Sweet bow, those copperhead skins look awesome!
-
Live those skins, nice work. As usual, u always turn out a sweet stik.
-
Nice work on the bow. Who told ya those are copperheads?
-
That came out awesome manny!! Nicely done.
-
Great looking bow and beautiful skins but those aren't copperheads.

Possible, I made this bow awhile back and there was a note on the skins but I guess I forgot ;D, could be cotton mouth ?
-
Beautiful bow and bend Sir, but definitely not Cottonmouth skins...I believe it is Diamondback water snake...
Don
-
Good job on the bow. I'm guessing diamondback water snake skins
-
Really ? quite sure the tag didn't say diamondback,
can't even remember who sent me this skins, hopefully he sees the threads and chimes in.
-
Figure it out, Mocassin.
-
Sweet viney! Negative tiller?
-
I don't think they are water moccasin skins. I have some of those and they are a totally different pattern. Maybe whoever sent them to you thought they were water moccasins. They sure look like diamondback water snakes to me. It really doesn't matter. They look good and so does the bow.
Snakes are easily misidentified. A lot of nonpoisonous snakes are often mistaken for poisonous snakes with a similar pattern. I've had several people give me copperhead skins that turned out to be corn snakes. Water snakes are mistaken for water moccasins a lot to.
-
Yeah, I can't be 100% sure but that is what the tag said on the skins ;D ;D ;D
-
That is a great looking bow. Really nice work. That whole rig with the cane quiver full of arrows looks great. Those big fat water snakes get shot all the time for water moccasins. The skins look great and are a great contrast to the white wood. You are churning out some fine bows!

Thanks,
Yeah, I really like how those skins look on that very pale wood.
-
Great bow, great bend. What are your tip overlays?
-
Skins not only look good, but your placement of them is spot on. Great-lookin' bow!
-
Good design, bet that's quick, Manny.

Thanks,
Paduk, I had this slat of Paduk with this thick cream colored section.
