I actually finished it at Christmas but I've only just got around to taking some pictures...
Lilac longbow for my 4-year old. 41" NTN, 15#@18". The wood came from a client's garden and no power tools have touched it from plant to bow. Mary Rose type side nocks, 4 strand linen string with half the strands dyed with blackberry. Finished with a couple of coats of beeswax. The ends and arrows are ugly as sin but I'm still working out what I'm doing and how I want things to look, plus I didn't want to wreck it.

Why would I do that? Front nocks look complicated!
They are! They're horrible, and non-historical and just... poop. ;D
I'm only saying this because we need more people making proper sidenocks in the UK!
