Title: sinew bow question
Post by: Spotted Dog on February 24, 2016, 09:37:52 am
I posted months ago that I sinew backed a short juniper bow. I have worked it and let it set.
It has gained so much power. How do I reduce the draw on it ? Don't mean to sound dumb
with this question, but it is my first sinewed bow.

That is what I thought, but wanted to be sure.  Thank you.

If that doesn't reduce the weight enough you could probably sand the back also but that would be the last resort. I guess you could narrow the bow also.
