Title: Field day.
Post by: Parnell on February 16, 2016, 09:00:59 am
I had my 2 nephews over this weekend and got some good pictures.  They're good boys and the younger is getting big enough to be able to shoot off his knuckle now.  Lots of fun.  I got a new phone and the picture quality is amazingly better.

They weren't travelling super fast, Kevin, but I was still surprised at how well the phone was able to capture them.  I'm left wondering up to what speeds photos like these can be snapped.

It was a beautiful evening.

Looks like they had a great time.

I've got it going really well now, Clint.  I've started welding out there, lately.  I've GOT to take some photos and post up for you all.
Concrete slab is poured.  I'm looking to start building the outdoor overhang in the next week or two.  Next is installing a window/steel door by welding them in and then it will be the overhang covered in a clear plastic sheeting to let in the light.

Then...a/c and possibly wireless tv.

It was a little hard to transfer from the garage into the shop but in the last few weeks I've been enjoying the shop much more.  Once I have that outdoor covered area going, there will be no going back.  Soon!

Sounds like you are making a nice work area.  I'd like to see some pictures when you get time.

Thanks guys.  Yeah, family time is important.  Angie turned to me the other day and said it seems like archery is becoming part of our family culture.  It made me smile.
