This bow is osage backed with copperhead skins. It has Purple Heart tip. It pulls 45 @26. Sorry about the short draw in the pic  I don't like to hold them back too long at full draw. Hope you like it.

Very cool bow Ryan! 45# is the perfect shoot-all-day weight, right? What did you use for the black bands where the copperhead backing stops at the tips?

I used the leather, Purple Heart, and beaver fur you sent me on this. I sure am ready for another stave!

Good job young man. Keep up the good work.

Little tip for your overlays: Before you glue them down on your next bow. Try this. Lay a sheet of sand paper on your work bench. Grab your over lay, bottom side down, and run it back and forth on the sand paper until that leading edge is razor sharp, then glue it on. Your transition will be baby butt smooth with just a little touch up work with sandpaper.

The outer 1/3 looks a bit stiff for my liking but other than that everything else looks good. Well done!   8)

Very nice, i love a bow in the mid to high 40# range. U can shoot all day and hunt all sorts of stuff 😄
