Title: Strange Object

I found this object down in my woods yesterday.
It's made out of sturdy plastic and is hollow.
At first I thought it could be some sort of buck
lure wick. But there is nothing inside. I am
guessing it was lost by someone poaching,
defiantly a trespasser. The tied on stuff is a
 rubber band?? Any ideas?

If it was buck lure you should still be able to smell it some.Yea that's weird for sure.

Definitely a rocket nose cone.  Parachute is gone.

Yep I bet that's what it is. Estes makes them in all shapes and colors. The rubber band is the shock cord for the parachute/rocket body.

Well unless he was trying to bag a buck
with a rocket. >:D
Now that I think of it-- I saw a red rag
like object on the other side of the creek
stuck in the bushes. I bet it could be the
parachute or part of it.
 Be a good reason to take another walk.

Oh well it was just a party balloon. ???
But I found a neat bottle wedged deep
down in the creek. :)

With out a doubt.
I have been drinking beer for the last 57 years
and I am the only dude on the planet that has
never even seen a Mickey's Malt Grenade. :-[

A whole bunch of people beat me to ID'ing the mystery object, but that movie....is awesome!!!  I remember the first time I watched it...I think my sides hurt for a week...lol
