Title: bow search help

A fellow long ago posted a beautiful erc bow he made from scrap erc slats. He ripped the slat down the middle and scarfed the ends together. The slats had sap and heartwood in them, divided down the center of the bow. The scarf was unusual in it looked like a puzzle piece. I believe it was bamboo backed. anybody got a link to that bow, I cant find it.

Was it one of Simpson's bows?
