Title: solution for edge break
Post by: iowabow on November 08, 2015, 03:26:16 pm
Here is the wide preform with diagonal flakes and no over shot edge. My solution was to create small directional flute channels of the larger pressure flakes to travel into. This will allow the finished point to be nice and thin with diagonal flake scars.

I am sorry I am currently pre-occupied trying to figure other stuff and haven't commented on your work.  It is really cool, keep at it.  At some point in the future I will be bugging you to learn more about how you are doing this stuff, but right now my poor little brain can only handle so much.
