Thanks to Mr Shakespeare we have these words to remember the battle of Agincourt:-
(The end of the famous StCrispin's Day speech)
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.
Hope that rouses your spirits :)

I'm out of bed! ;D

Some of my mom's ancestors come from Lincolnshire
back in the time of Shakespeare.
When it comes to blood I'm a wussie.
"Out, out damned spot"
So I'll add Nick Cage's quote from the Weatherman.
"People here don't throw fast food at me.
Maybe it's because I carry a bow"
Well it is sorta theatrical. >:D

Kinda sheepish to admit that I didn't know that is where "band of brothers" originated. Very inspiring!
I'm almost motivated to tackle my to-do list, now. ;D

I'm glad he put in "cheap" :D

I was fortunate enough to hear that one bellowed out just before battle time yesterday. Standing on the Finsbury fields with 130 other longbow archers from the fraternity of st. George. Waiting to loose at the knight targets down the field.
pretty cool feeling
