Title: Will 9 large back tendons do a bow
Post by: Ryan C on October 17, 2015, 08:20:02 pm
I have 9 large deer tendons I've proccessed three so far not sure I'll have enough for the bow in mind. How many do you guys use for about a 55 inch bow?

Every piece is a little different, going by weight
I'd think about an ounce of processed sinew would cover your bow.
Multiply that by how many layers you want to do.

i measure the sinew by grains,, 800 to 1200 grains is a good starting point,,,,,(processed)
