60” ntn
38#/28”
Whenever a bow in the 35# range comes from my workbench, my wife check it out.
And again ad again she says, now that's a lovely one I will take it for me. Same with this one. The bow is tillered out to 28, she draws only 26. So lot of security or say it is overbuilt.
But the bow is very light by mass and spits an arrow very fine.
Nothing special here, some cracks on the back are filled with super glue. I found some nice matching pieces of stripped horn for the overlays.

Great profiles as usual.

Sharp bow Simon, cool stitch pattern, nice horn tips and very graceful flowing lines. Nice that your wife enjoys archery and knows a damn good bow when she sees one. :)

Yes Greg, fotunately my lovely wife enjoys archery. And I enjoy shooting with her. Good thing is she tolerates my excessive bowery ;)
Thank you all for your nice compliments guys.

Nice bow. And a great # to give the wife :^)
Bob - I'm not sure that the Adult-rated meaning of the number '69' is understood the same in Germany as it is here, ...but I noted that peculiar coincidence as well when I read the thread.
Simon - Nice bow indeed! I particularly like the stitching work.

I love seeing your bows Simson, they always have just that extra touch that makes them so unique. That handle lacing for instance. Next time you do one of those could you do a build along? Outstanding work as usual.
-
I love everything about that bow. Especially the stitching on the handle. Absolutely beautiful.
-
That stitching is special, love it and everything else about the bow, I know she'll love that one. :) :)

Thanks so much for posting this! I have some guava with cracks in it like that. I have been waiting on it because I was afraid it would break. This increases my confidence ten fold.
That is a beautiful bow, with a fine tiller. An inspiration for sure!
