				Let's show off the cool looking stones ya'll found while knapping. I was knapping some pitch black and suddenly these sparkly red vains popped through. Love seeing unique stuff

Oh and the red doesn't show through the other side. And it sparkles. None of my other red stuff sparkles!

				Here's my favorite. Got this slab sent to me in a point in the hat trade. 
My wife took it from me and it hangs on her rearview mirror now.  ;)

				Chippen I don't know. I got that piece at a PowWow in Courtland, Va

				It sure looks like Horse Creek Chert to me. A lot of it is nearly impossible to work taw, but gets a lot better cooked. The dark maroon color of it is the easiest to knap, and the yellow/green/gray grainy stuff can make a guy talk ugly.
